USA
The Dow rallied to close at 9840 on light volume while the Nasdaq 100 sank slightly, closing at 1558.
 
Enron
Former vice-chairman, Cliff Baxter, found dead with a suicide note. (more)
 
Australia - ASX
The All Ords encountered more selling pressure as it closed up at 3383. The fatter bar on the equivolume chart indicates higher volume.
 

 
BHP [BHP]
BHP to benefit from its South African operations - the depreciating rand has lowered costs of production and the dollar-value of rand-denominated debt. (more)
 




Conclusion
Short-term: The MACD and MACD Histogram have still not given a buy signal.
Long-term trades: Wait for a correction on the secondary cycle.
