USA
The Dow closed down at 9891 on increased volume.The MACD has completed a bearish triple divergence. The Nasdaq 100 fell 1.86% and the S&P 500 fell 0.63%. None of the 3 indexes has yet broken from its up-trend.
 
Merrill stock allocation
Merrill Lynch recommend that clients increase their exposure to bonds, saying stocks are overpriced. (more)
 
Australia - ASX
The All Ords closed down at 3350 on lighter volume, with insufficient selling pressure to overcome support at 3350.
 

 
Westfield has to share the spoils [WSF]
In a 3-way deal with two of its US rivals, Westfield will acquire 43% of Rodamco's North America portfolio. (more)
 




Conclusion
Short-term: Wait for the uncertainty to clear.
Long-term trades: Wait for a correction on the secondary cycle.
